“Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” Luke 2:10-12
Have you ever thought about Mary and her journey from a shocking miracle pregnancy to giving birth to then holding her promised newborn in her arms and all the surprises that came with delivering Jesus Son of God?
A holy hush swept in and enveloped man and beast. All of heaven was fascinated, enchanted by this glorious child. We watch this couple; Mary and Joseph face a perplexing and mysterious heavenly assignment. From conception to birth this burgeoning family was setting the stage for an epic renewal and restoration of all mankind.
I remember with my pregnancies we felt great expectancy build yet during delivery a pause in my contractions felt like nothing was happening. But the baby was coming into position for birth.
Something significant was about to happen! That which was conceived was finally being birthed! A significant little someone! Our dream was breaking through and all the preparations and planning brought about a fulfillment of a promise and transition into a new season.
The Lord is standing in 2024 and calling you forward to carry His hope. God has fully empowered you by His Spirit to fulfill your earthly calling to be a carrier of peace, hope, and renewal to a frenzied world.
Just like the birth of Jesus was in the Father’s perfect timing, we declare it’s a significant moment in your life. The time is now! You are pregnant with promise. It’s your time to give birth to what God has conceived and planted inside of you. It’s time to transition into a new season of your heavenly assignment.
