About Us

For the past 38 years, Bill and Sandy Burkhardt have been married and have served together in teaching and pastoral ministry. In 1975 Sandy graduated from high school and jumped head first into ministry as a missionary in Haiti, Mexico, and Colombia. She studied Spanish in Costa Rica. Sandy trained in Bible College as she continued to serve in youth ministry and eventually met Bill. 

 

Bill came to Christ in 1980 while in undergraduate school. After finishing his graduate degree Bill moved to San Diego and attended Bible College. Bill and Sandy met in 1984 at their local church. While on a summer mission trip in Mexico City they were engaged and later married in November 1985. Bill and Sandy have two amazing children; their son Tim and his wife Minah, their daughter Betsy and her husband David, and two of the most incredible grandchildren God has ever created!

 

Bill is an avid hiker, lover of nature, God seeker, prophet, and teacher. Sandy is a God lover. Her call is to reveal Father’s love and power in all she does and teaches. Bill and Sandy's call is to come alongside pastors and believers to bring everyone into a higher level of encounter with God's love and freedom, and to share the Father's heart with the rest of the world. In 2017 Bill and Sandy merged their church with Beach Chapel where they now serve as Associate Pastors.
